Response: What a wonderful comment! Thank you! Yes, the fire happened a few years ago and took out our hobby shed, playhouse, 15 trees, car, and more. It was pretty bad. Seeing the artwork that my daughters had done burned in the fire was incredibly sad. Lots of memories with that, things from my parents, antiques, etc. - all gone. Anyway...this was such a great swap. I hope you will another version of it in the future!

Response: Thanks...I'm glad you enjoyed reading them. I wish I could make the type larger...or maybe I need to put less information and/or pictures on each page. I'm still learning...hopefully they'll continue to improve.
Response: You're welcome. I ended up reading the story aloud to my daughters who also enjoyed listening to the experience again...despite it being such a scary one. If you'd like to see pictures of where I wrote from, you can visit my Flickr site at http://www.flickr.com/photos/picturesbyann . You can search within my site for "farm" or "backyard" or "pasture" - depending on what you want to see.

Response: Thankfully, there was no tornado. However there was really heavy rain (I couldn't even see the next door neighbor's home), very strong winds, and lots of lightening. The mudroom roof started leaking and about half the floor was covered with water, so there was damage to the home. Have to do some calling today to figure out how to repair the roof.

Response: It was nice to see your name come up again (I had made the fairy dotee for you as well)! I remember making handmade soap here at the farm many years ago when I was running a non-profit organization. There's just no comparison between handmade soap and store-bought is there? I'm sure your house smells wonderful all year long!
