Response: Oh brother—So sorry. I had another partner in Germany and she didn’t get her postcard yet either. I wonder if I swapped the post codes. Glad it finally got there!
Response: Oh, I’m so glad you liked the washi; I love it when I pick a winner! I realized after I mailed the package, that I forgot to label the kraft box as an extra treat—that is great for holding sticker/label sheets and greeting cards.
Response: I'm so glad you like the papers! I felt bad because I had to trim them, but I hoped you could find a use for them!
Response: I’m 90% sure I got it at Hobby Lobby; it was part of a tube set that included other patterns: mixed tape, astronaut, lips, and cherries. (Those are the other ones I can remember.)
Response: Thanks for the heart and the kind words. My ability to “gab” probably varies on the kind of day I’ve had; with the postcard swaps I’ve done recently, I have been thinking, “I always write about the weather...how boring.” 😂 But, I must admit, living in a place that is so hot most of the year, the weather (i.e, the awful heat) is often on my mind!!
Response: I knew there was a part of Oregon that had weather more like Texas (than Seattle). So sorry you feel my pain! ☀️ 🔥 A/C is life. 😂
Response: I hope it works! I’ve never actually planted one myself!
Response: So glad you liked everything! That “Do Something” sticker is from a Kickstarter Project by Eliza Frye.
Response: Glad you like it! You should definitely check out NPCW—it’s so much fun designing a postcard and swapping with others. The woman who hosts the swap is updating the website, but I think she made a FB group recently as well.
Response: So glad it made it and that it was a nice treat for you! I just love sending mail and it makes me feel happy when someone likes what they get. Hope you had a stellar birthday!
Response: Glad you like it! I used clear mailing labels to make the swap name “stickers.” And the swap-bot image is a stamp I had made. I just used one of the images I found on the swap-bot website and I think I had it made at Rubberstamps.net
Response: So glad you like it; I had so much fun coloring it. And welcome to Swap-bot! Hope you are enjoying it so far!
Response: Glad you like it. I had wanted to send you the Alice in Wonderland one, but I didn’t have any more of them. But even the “regular” cat ones are still delightful, I think.
Response: I’m so glad! I love that feeling!
Response: I had a feeling you might like it! Yay!
Response: Glad you liked it!
Response: So glad you (and your daughter) liked it! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I can’t say for sure—but it’s probably one of two places: Target Dollar Spot 😂, maybe last summer? OR Pipsticks, a super-fantastico monthly sticker subscription!
Response: So glad this one made it to you!
Response: So glad you liked it; I enjoyed making it! Happy New Year!
Response: Yay! I love “matching†someone with a postcard they’ll really like!
Response: Glad you like it; it’s so much fun getting happy mail, right?! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I think I got them at JoAnn—last year though. I thought they were so cute and unique. Glad you like them too! Thanks for the heart!
Response: So glad you like it; I have so much fun looking for nice cards and putting stuff together for others. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I probably used one of my many fonts—I’m addicted to them! 😂 I print them onto labels (I’m also addicted to those!) to save my hand from cramping and because I like the way it looks!
Response: I'm so glad you liked everything! I couldn't believe my luck when I saw that mug--it was 70% off! I had to get it. Thanks for the kind words and the heart.
Response: Glad you liked it! It's from Iconic New York by Emily Isabella. (There's also Iconic D.C, Iconic Paris, and Iconic San Francisco.)
Response: Thanks for the heart and the compliments! I'm glad it made it to you (I get a little nervous about int'l mail) and that you liked it!
Response: I've received little plastic rulers like that before and always wondered where people found them. Last month I stumbled upon some at Michael's! I like to keep one in my bag and my desk at school. Students always need a ruler, and even a little plastic one is better than nothing! ðŸ“
Response: I'm so glad you had fun opening everything! I love this kind of swap because I'm continually amazed at some of the items one can find for $1! And I love those wittle, wittle pencils--so cute, but so small, I almost can't use them effectively 😂!
Response: I'm so glad you got it! I truly appreciate your kindness and patience. I will always feel a tinge of guilt about being so late in sending, but I am so much happier with how the journal came out after I re-worked it. I had so much fun putting it all together and picking out things you might like. (But from now on, I'll only do swaps like this during the summer when I'm off from work 😉!
Response: Yes, it's a day/month/year washi from Studio Calico. I already ordered a 2017 roll! Freckled Fawn sometimes sells a similar washi that is not year-specific.
Response: Yay! I'm so glad you got the pkg! Hope you and the kitties have a fabulous Christmas!
Response: So glad you got the replacement card; I'm amazed that it got there so fast! Have a fabulous Christmas!!
Response: I'm so glad you like it!
Response: ðŸ‘ðŸ¼Yay for Teacher Holidays! ðŸ‘ðŸ¼ðŸ‘ŠðŸ¼Here's to a break from:🙋ðŸ¼ðŸ™‹ðŸ»ðŸ™‹ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ðŸ™‹ðŸ½â€â™‚ï¸Enjoy it!
Response: Sorry to hear you had a bad day ðŸ™, but I'm so glad some happy mail cheered you up a bit! (My dog's elation when I arrive home is one of the few things that is higher than happy mail on my list of things that cheer me up! 😂) I don't remember which address labels I sent or the font. I try to match the font I use with the theme of the swap, but I often use Nightstar, Retroboard, and Shadows into Light. I have hundreds of fonts. Most are free, but I occasionally buy them as well. I use Avery label templates in Microsoft Word to make most of my labels.
Response: Sometimes The Paper Source has them, but I can usually find a variety of sizes on Amazon.
Response: I used my laptop and a laser printer (or ink jet if the words were in color). I do have a label maker, but I always go back to my computer bc I have hundreds of fonts. So many to choose from--I love collecting fonts!! And I have lots of different label sizes, most are Avery, but I do have 3 sets by DCWV that I got at JoAnn's.
Response: I'm so glad you liked what I sent! I just love swapping and sending people stuff. I have boxes full of stuff for swaps. Mostly note cards but other stuff too. And don't get me started on pcs. I can't stop buying them. It's basically a compulsion at this point. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Can you believe those Halloween letters?! I love them. Michael's usually has holiday sticker books for $1 and those letter stickers were in one of them. Glad you liked the card; thanks for the heart!
Response: Thanks for the heart and the kind words. I'm so glad you liked it and the extras. It's funny you mentioned that purse--I can't remember if I said in my note--but I totally bought it one night when I couldn't sleep and was browsing Amazon. Usually I splurge on a new bag for my birthday, but since it's not until March, I don't think I can rationalize buying that bag as a bday gift. Thanks again for being such an understanding and supportive swap-partner! Have a great week!
Response: It's from Louis Bou's Art Dolls postcard set. (It's also a book.) I think there are many different artists, but if you peel up the washi tape, it should have the artist's info and possibly a web address. It's a fabulous set of 100 pcs for under $15 on amazon!
Response: Thanks for the heart! Glad you like the postcard. I have so much fun getting them ready to send off!
Response: Yes, I used moo.com. (http://bit.ly/moopc)
They're more expensive than other sites, but the quality is bar none. I usually wait until they have a 25% off promotion. I also love moo because you can make different versions of the same postcard as part of the same order. So instead of getting 30 of 1 design, I can get 6 of 5 designs, etc. The grid postcard was one of moo's designs though, so all of the pcs were the same. Thanks for the heart!
Response: I think it was a fluke that the Hallmark store had the pcs. They were tucked away in a box that I stumbled upon. I got them a few months ago, so I don't know if every store would still have them. As for the washi, I have a serious problem--I can't stop ordering it! I get almost every roll from different shops on Etsy. The fox washi I've been eyeing for months and I finally got it from iluvdesign (etsy shop). But it's made by Little B so you might be able to find it at a scrapbooking store. I'm not sure which Alice in Wonderland washi I used on your postcard. I ordered 2 different kinds. One was from April103 and one was from MindtheWrap. Thanks for the heart!
Response: Thanks for your rating and kind words. I'm glad I did the two pocket letter swaps because I have been curious about them for over a year. And I'm glad I went out of my swapping comfort zone. Perhaps I'll try again someday!
Response: Oh, I'm so glad you got it! And that you like it! I've had a few issues with international mail over the past six months, so I always hold my breath when I send out something! Thanks for the nice note and rating. Hope you have a great week!
Response: I don't know if the postcard says it (I might have covered it up) but it's from Art Dolls: 100 Postcards by Louis Bou. The set has quite a few creepy/odd dolls and is definitely a book about art dolls not just dolls (a la American Girl or Kewpie).
Response: I hope the elephant was the puffy one! I've been hesitant to use them bc I wasn't sure they'd survive the journey to you, but recently I received pcs with little puffy stickers, so I decided to go for it!
Response: I just sent you a pm. I sent this swap out on 5/19, and my other two partners received theirs on 5/23 and 5/24. I will re-send once you confirm your address. (See pm.)
Response: Remind me--what is the image? (That will help me narrow down where I got it.)
Response: So glad it made it to you and you like it! I had so much fun putting it together. Have fun at Comic Con PA!
Response: So glad you liked it!
Response: Hi Susan! I think the postcard you're referring to was for the Quote on a Postcard Swap. I haven't sent out my Postcrossing Obsessed? 9! pcs yet.
Response: Thanks for the kind words. I always try to pick out things I think my partner will like. And I'm obsessed with washi!! It's a sickness!
Response: Yay~finally!! But if you got #2 and not #1, I'm glad I did my little "experiment" of sending five! I hope you get at least a few more of the ones I sent. Happy very late birthday!!!
Response: I'm so glad! I've been saving that for just the right person to send it to!
Response: I have two different rolls of calendar Washi tape. One of them is from Freckled Fawn--although now it looks like they sell it in yellow: http://freckledfawn.com/collections/washi-tape-1/products/washi-ff-triangles
The other roll came in a monthly Project Life kit by Studio Calico. I don't know if they make it anymore. I'm so glad you liked the Jetoy card. I just got those a few weeks ago!
Response: remind me--what kind of postcard did I send?
Response: I'm so glad you like the box. I had been looking for something Paris-related and couldn't find anything online, and then I went into JoAnn's for something else and saw that box! I had a 60% off coupon, so I got a great deal. Enjoy your birthday month!
Response: So glad you got it! It was fun to make!
Response: Thank you so much for the pocket letter! I haven't been staying at my apartment, so I only just checked my mail today! What a lovely surprise! Last year I bought a pack of pocket pages so I could try out pocket letter pals, but I never followed through. Seeing your example definitely inspires me! Thank you so much!
Response: I ordered that stamp on rubberstamps.net. You can upload your own designs in jpeg format. I usually make mine using the Rhonna Farrer app on my phone. I like how the typewriter stamp came out. The top is too small to read, but oh well!
Response: So glad you liked the postcard! The stamps are all from etsy shops. The cat in a cup is from terbearco and the name stamp is from modernartstamps (stamps are cheaper here because they're unmounted. Also, delivery can take 3-6 weeks.) Some of the other stamps are from ppappappiyo. Hope you find some you like!
Response: I know I only had to send 1 card, and I wasn't expecting two ratings. I'm just a fan of mail so I thought it would be fun getting two cards.
Response: Sorry about that! My foolproof system of double-checking that everything is good (postage, swap name, username) apparently has some flaws!
Response: I'm pretty sure I used Sakura Glaze pens or Souffle pens! I love Sakura pens. The glaze and Souffle ones are a little pricey, but so worth it!
Response: I can't remember for sure, but I did just buy some Sakura Soufflé pens. It was either that or a Sakura Glaze pen. Both have a slight texture or raised effect. 🖋ðŸ–👌
Response: I'm glad you liked it! I love decorating envelopes and packages. Thanks for the heart!ðŸ˜
Response: That's so great that your daughter was able to translate the card! I try to figure out what the card must say based on the pictures, but it's cool to actually know! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so glad you'll be able to use some of the things I sent! Thanks for the heart!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! There's an entire "bad language" section in that boxed set of pcs! If you like typography or graphic design, you should check it out! (The entire set is text-based, no photographs)
Response: I'm so glad you like them! I'm definitely going to order from that etsy shop again. I love little magnets like that! I sent your package (with wrapped gifts and a card) on Saturday. You should get it Thurs or Friday!
Response: I had it made. I think at rubber stamps.net but you could get it done anywhere probably. You just need a good, clean image that's the right size. Thanks for the â¤ï¸.
Response: So glad you liked it! Have a happy holiday!
Response: I'm glad to hear they worked for you! Sorry you needed a pick me up, but mail/a little pkg can really do the trick sometimes! Happy holidays!
Response: I'm so impressed with your willpower! I tear into my wrapped gifts as soon as I get them 🙊. Can never resist! Thanks for rating now-and the heart!
Response: So glad you got everything and that you like it! Have a great holiday!
Response: So glad you can use some of them!
Response: Yay! I was so hoping you would like what I picked out for you!
